Shalom! Welcome to the website of Temple Israel of Dover, New Hampshire.
We are a Reform congregation serving the Seacoast community since 1938. Our congregation provides a warm and supportive environment that nurtures both the mind and the spirit.
Our Rabbi, Sam Seicol, explains that the role of a Synagogue is to create a sacred community, a kahal kadosh. Here at Temple Israel, we welcome all who seek a connection to and through Judaism: Jews, members of Jewish homes, interfaith families, visitors, and seekers of knowledge related to Judaism and the Jewish tradition. We are committed to study, ritual, Shabbat and holiday observance, and music as paths for enriching communal life and personal spiritual growth.
For Shabbat and Holiday service times and education and social events, please check our calendar page (see below).
We would be happy to tell you more about Temple Israel. You are welcome to give us a call at (603) 742-3976 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Support the Temple When You Shop at Amazon
When you shop at Amazon,
Amazon Smile will donate 1/2 of 1% of what you spend to the Temple.
Here's what you have to do. Spread the word.
From your browser on your computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone, instead of going to amazon.com, go to smile.amazon.com and log in as usual.
You will be prompted to select your charity. In the white search box, type "Temple Israel of Dover" and execute the search. "Temple Israel of Dover, NH" should pop up. Select it and then shop as usual.
You need to do this each time you shop, unless you leave the browser tab open. If the URL (web address shown at the top of the browser page) doesn't include smile.amazon.com, you need to log on again to smile.amazon.com.
The smile program doesn't work with smart phone apps. (When this changes, we will change these instructions.) Thus, to get the donation, you must do your shopping from a browser regardless of its type.
All are welcome

Messages from the President
We are excited that we now share our facility with Honey Tree Learning Center. They will be in the building Monday - Friday each week from 6:30AM to 6:00PM. Learn more at http://www.honeytreelearningcenter.com/.
We will continue to provide services, programs, Religious School, and Adult Education every week Friday evening through Sunday morning. The Sanctuary and two offices will remain dedicated solely to the Temple. The Social Hall is a shared space and the Temple will have full use of it and the kitchen during our times of operation.
